Small Space Must Haves!

Living in a tiny space doesn't have to constrict how you style or decorate the space! I just recently moved into a studio apartment: 345 square feet of a space. Here are a few trips and tricks on how I edited my room and did the whole layout!

I wanted a distinct area that was seperated to create 'two' rooms. Ikea has these amazing cube dividers that come in all different sizes. They have one cube, 2 x 2 cube, etc. etc. I got the 4 x 2 divider, and I got 2 of them. They do have a 4 x 4, but I liked the idea of them being more mobile, especially if I ever move. I got some little boxes from Target that fit into the cubes and I filled my bottom row with them. The rest of the cubes I have decorated with my stuff. This not only is a great divider, but provides great storage. I love how useful this is, and I love how it helps to divide the room while also making the room light and air-y!

I also wanted a space to sit that wasn't my bed. I searched on Wayfair and was able to find a cute little arm chair. It's the perfect size, super comfortable, and it's tiny and tucks away perfectly. I love the color too! This is such a fun addition to the space and it helps to further divide my bed from my "living room area". It also provides a place for guests to sit when people come to visit me, that's not my bed! I also got a little white side table from Ikea! The top comes off and I use it like a tray sometimes! It provides the perfect space to put drinks and other things while I'm sitting in my chair! It also slides underneath my air conditioning unit, which is pretty sweet when I need it out of the way!

Lastly, I had a small space in my kitchen. I had struggled with this area. I wanted a little kitchen nook, but I knew that I wouldn't have a lot of space. I did some research on amazon and found this tiny kitchen table. It comes with two chairs that fit perfectly underneath the table. It's not super high or super long and it fits right in the corner of my apartment! I think these tables are so cute and are super functional as well! They were pretty decently priced and I think that they are a perfect must-have for any small space!
