The first (of hopefully many!) Travel Posts! Now, I didn't go anywhere exotic but it was still nice to get away for a little bit! My friends and I went over to Jonesboro, Arkansa for a little weekend getaway! It was about an hour and half trip, so it wasn't too bad at all!

Now, the one big thing that always worries me when I travel is food! I do have Celiac's Disease, so eating out isn't always the most convienent or easy thing to do. Luckily, Jonesboro had some great options!

Breakfast is always a challenge for me and I am always really hesitant about places that say they're gluten free. Lucky for us, we found the cutest little place ever. It was called The Recovery Room on Main St. It was a fun little cafe that served brunch on the weekends! Most of their options were gluten free which was a dream, and their staff was very knowledgable about what was and what wasn't gluten free!

Pictured: we have a yogurt parfait with granola and fruit; an egg white scramble with basil and cherry tomatoes; a Farmers Pie (egg, potato, sausage, cheese) with grapes!

It was all so good and their coffee was also phenominal. They had a huge selection of different drink options which was so nice since my friends and I all take our coffee so differently. I definitely recommend this place if you're in the area looking for a good breakfast to start your day!

So I have to admit that we ate at this pizza place two nights in a row. We were obsessed.

This place was also on Main St. and it was a little corner place called Eleanor's Pizza. Their gluten free crust is actually a cauliflower crust that was super delicious. It was a thin crust and it only came in a 10" size. All of their toppings and sauces were gluten free which made things VERY easy. I got the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza which was SO good. It had a garlic oil sauce that was so delicious. My friend got a margherita pizza which she loved as well. It was such a fun place with such good food that we couldn't not go back for more.

There was also a great bakery that had great gluten free cupcakes called Bliss, that I didn't take pictures of! They had great selection of cupcakes and they even had edible cookie dough (which was not gluten free, sadly)!
